Veteran Orientation Tuesday, September 24th, from 8am-3pm
The transition from community college to UC Davis can be very challenging. As a new student veteran, you do not have the luxury to take your time exploring what UC Davis has to offer. You have to hit the ground running or get left behind. We know that finding a way to connect to UC Davis contributes to overall success. This orientation will help you find that connection, get some valuable information, and meet other new student veterans. You do not want to begin the quarter trying to figure out how things work on campus or worry about your VA benefits once classes begin. Be prepared for the quarter and attend this orientation!
Dependent Orientation Tuesday, September 24th, from 12pm – 3pm
You have applied for your VA benefits. Now what? How do you keep them in good standing? What does the VA pay for? You have not gotten paid, who do you contact? Find out these answers and more at the Veteran Dependent Orientation while gaining additional valuable information regarding your VA benefits and meeting other new dependents. Make sure to mark your calendars so you don’t miss this event!
