Application Process



Step 1: Are you eligible? 

Review the MURALS eligibility requirements to determine if you qualify for the program. 

Step 2: Schedule an appointment with the MURALS Coordinator

Contact the MURALS Coordinator by either calling 530-752-9931 or visiting South Hall, Room 121 to schedule an appointment. Prospective applicants must make an appointment with the MURALS Coordinator. Applications submitted without a prior appointment will not be reviewed.

Step 3: Prepare for your appointment

In preparation for your appointment with the MURALS Coordinator, please review the How to Approach and Select a Faculty Mentor. Also, prepare a short list of questions about the program and undergraduate research.

Step 4: Meet with the MURALS Coordinator

During your meeting, the Coordinator will provide an overview of the program, review your eligibility and provide specific instructions regarding the application process. 

Step 5: Complete the online application

If you are a UC Davis student who meets the eligibility requirements, can make a commitment of two quarters, and has met with the MURALS Coordinator, complete and submit the application below to the MURALS coordinator in 121 South Hall. Because the demand for participation in MURALS is high, students are encouraged to inquire at least two to three quarters ahead of their anticipated time of entry into the program.
